| Where are the puppies raised? The puppies are raised in our home, and our adults live in our home as well. Our puppies are born in a whelping box set up in our bedroom. The mama dog spends her last month of pregnancy either sleeping in her whelping box (or in our bed!). This way she has plenty of time to "nest" and get comfortable in her box before the big day. We like to keep them in our bedroom as they get closer to delivery as many times the mama dog will come to us when she's ready to whelp. If not, we can hear her because she is close by. More times than not they deliver in the middle of the night and we don't want to miss anything! When the puppies start to get bigger and are ready to wonder out of their box, we move them to a new area set up specifically with the puppies in mind. They have plenty of room to run and play, an area to potty and an area for eating and drinking. Are the puppies potty trained? No puppy is completely potty trained, but we do start working on this at an early age. Depending on the weather, we may use piddle pads inside the house for potty training. If it's warm, the puppies will be taken outside in a safely fenced area for potty and play time. Are the puppies papered/registered? Yes, the puppies are APRI and/or AKC registered. They are purebred. Do you ship your puppies? Yes, we ship to the 48 Continental Unites States. We have made exceptions for Alaska Where have you shipped puppies to in the past? We have pups all over the United States. Iowa, Nebraska, Arizona, New Mexico, Maryland, Washington DC, Minnesota, Alaska, New Jersey and Ohio to name a few. STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION |
